1. Introduction

Welcome to smart digital dispatch (the "App"), developed for and operated by Gulf assist W.L.L with registered office 6GPQ+H73, Seef, Bahrain.

Gulf assist W.L.L (hereinafter "We") processes your personal data in order to operate this App in compliance with applicable privacy laws.

The App was developed by Webellian Sp. z o.o..

This Privacy Notice explains how to facilitate the tracking procedure between the customer and the driver. By using the App, the driver shall receive the service request to arrange the service and allow the customer to track the driver's location.

2. Which personal data do We collect?

We collect personal data from drivers of service providers (e.g. tow truck companies) in charge of delivering such service, and more generally from App users. Personal data of customers beneficiaries of assistance service are made available in the App to deliver the service.

We retain personal data of customers and drivers only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Privacy Notice. Once personal data is no longer necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, We will securely delete or anonymize it, unless We are legally obligated to retain such data for a longer period.

3. Why do We collect personal data?

When the customer requests an assistance service, their service request details, including pickup and drop-off locations, are shared through the App with the driver or/and service provider assigned to fulfill the customer's request. After the driver's approval, We track the driver's location to enhance the transparency and adequacy in the service to our customers. This information is necessary to facilitate the service and ensure a smooth customer experience. Driver's location is only tracked during provision of the service to customers.

Shortly after the service has been rendered, customers' data is not available to the App users.

4. With whom do We may share your data?

We share customers' and drivers' personal data with the following parties:
  • Relevant departments of Gulf assist W.L.L
  • Service Providers: We share data with contracted service providers that are providing services to our customers and for billing purposes.
  • Developers of the application: Webellian Sp. z o.o..

5. How do We secure the data?

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect personal data from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. These measures include but are not limited to encryption, access controls, and regular security assessments. We strive to ensure that only authorized personnel have access to personal data and that these individuals are bound by strict confidentiality obligations.

However, no data transmission or storage can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. The App users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account information.

6. Where do We transfer your data

As a general rule, in the context of these processing activities We do not transfer personal data in countries outside France, India, United Arab Emirates Bahrain, Jordan, and data is hosted in Netherlands.

In exceptional cases, we may transfer personal data to a third country. In any case, the transfer of personal data will be performed in compliance with the applicable privacy law and international agreements in force, as well as on the basis of appropriate and suitable safeguards.

7. What are your privacy rights?

We would like to make sure you are aware of your privacy rights. Depending on local applicable legislation, data subjects may be entitled to the following rights:

The right to access - You have the right to request to us for copies of your personal data. We may charge you a small fee for this service.

The right to rectification - You have the right to request that to us correct any information you believe is inaccurate. You also have the right to request to us to complete information you believe is incomplete.

The right to erasure — You have the right to request that to us erase your personal data, under certain conditions.

The right to restrict processing - You have the right to request that to us to restrict the processing of your personal data, under certain conditions.

The right to object to processing - You have the right to object to us the processing of your personal data, under certain conditions.

The right to data portability - You have the right to request to us the transfer the data that we have collected to another organization, or directly to you, under certain conditions.
